 Get a Library Card

All permanent residents of the Easton Area School District, including the City of Easton, Forks Township, Palmer Township, and part of Lower Mount Bethel, may obtain library cards at no charge.
Annual subscription memberships are available for $75 per household to individuals who reside within the Easton Library District, as defined by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. This includes Pen Argyl, Plainfield Township, Stockertown, Tatamy, and Wind Gap. Library cards are not sold outside of the Easton Library District.
All applicants must present a current photo ID showing both name and address at the time of registration. Applicants under age 18 must also provide a parent or guardian signature. Library cards are valid for one year from the date of issue and must be renewed annually.
Computer Use Only cards are available for patrons unable to obtain a regular library card.
Access PA Sticker
The Library participates in Access Pennsylvania, a statewide reciprocal borrowing program that includes holdings from many types of libraries. This program allows resident cardholders in good standing to borrow materials from over 500 public libraries across Pennsylvania.
If the Library does not have the items you want and you are an Easton Area School District resident, the Interlibrary Loan department can request materials from other libraries on your behalf.
Submit an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Request
Easton Area School District residents aged 15 and older may apply for a library card online. This card provides 24/7 access to online collections, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, databases, and more. Electronic access is available for six months. During this period, applicants must visit the Library in person with photo ID and proof of address to upgrade to a full-access library card.
Applicants who live outside the Easton Area School District must apply for a library card in person and present a valid library card from their home library.
