laptops are available for in-library use
checkout with your EAPL library card! These
laptops are available to adult readers &
learners and support efforts to grow the
Library’s Beyond Books Collection.
Laptops are available for three hour sessions
for in-house use only and require patron
identification. A driver’s license or other form
of photo identification is required, held at the
Circulation Desk, and returned upon check in.
Need more time? Ask for a time extension at the
Reference Desk.
Access to this technology will improve the
quality of the Library’s overall collections and
expand the technology help services of the
Library, enhancing the Library’s digital
literacy initiatives while also supporting adult
programming in all literacy types. Removing
barriers to technology empowers patrons to
advocate for themselves and improve the skills
needed to effectively communicate in the world.
Access to these materials was made possible with
Federal America Rescue Plan (ARP) funds through
the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE)
Office of Commonwealth Libraries (OCL) to
support the long-term work of community and
library recovery in Pennsylvania.
