Easton Area Public Library Welcome to the Easton Area Public Library. All residents of the Easton Area School District, including the city of Easton, Forks Township, Palmer Township, Riegelsville, and part of Lower Mount Bethel may obtain cards at no charge. Annual subscription memberships are available to individuals whose municipalities do not support a library or who do not live in Pennsylvania. All applicants must present current Photo ID showing both name and address at the time of registration. Seventh graders are entitled to an adult library card. Those under the age 18 need a parent/guardian signature. The Library participates in Access Pennsylvania, a statewide reciprocal borrowing program which entitles our resident cardholders, in good standing, to borrowing privileges at over 400 other public libraries in Pennsylvania. Material may be renewed at the main library or one of the branches. Renewals can be made over the phone or through our online catalog. If an item you want is checked out to someone else, you may place a reserve on it. If the library doesn't have the book you want and you are an Easton Area School District resident. The Interlibrary Loan department will borrow it from another library for you at your request. For ease in returning materials when the library is not open, drop boxes are located on either side of the front door. *Items in jewel cases (CD's and single audio cassette tapes) must be returned to the Circulation Desk.
