 Wednesday, October 29 - The Zookeeper’s Wife: A War Story by Diane Ackerman

Ackerman recounts the true story of Warsaw Zoo keepers and resistance activists Jan and Antonia Zabinski, who in the aftermath of Germany’s invasion of Poland, saved the lives of hundreds of Jewish citizens by sheltering them in animal cages and sheds and at their home villa.
