|USING THE LIBRARY
For Renewing Online
|Easton Area Public Library offers library users the
ability to renew materials online.
By electing to use the online self-renewal
service you are entering into a contract between you and
the Easton Area Public Library in which you accept a new
level of responsibility for material you have checked

|Your responsibilities regarding renewals:
|If you renew item(s)
online, you are confirming that you still have each
Therefore, before renewing, you
are responsible for:
renewing materials online:
- Click on My Account.
- Type in your library
barcode number and your four digit PIN.
Click on the Submit
To display the list of items you
have checked out, click on “Items Currently
Checked Out” found under your address.
You may choose to renew all items by
selecting the “Renew All” button. Or you may
renew individual items by marking the
checkbox next to each title and selecting
the “Renew Selected Items” button.
After renewing your items you must
examine the STATUS column for each item to
determine IF it has actually been renewed.
Some types of material will never be
the item was successfully renewed,
please note the new due date for

please promptly return the material to the

not notice that an item did not renew, you
are responsible for any overdue fines.

their own holds on materials which are currently checked
There is a $.25 charge for this
- To request items, search the library
catalog using title, author, subject, etc.
After finding the title of the
item you want to request, click on the
“Request” button at the top of the screen.
Type in your barcode
number from your library card, and your four
Choose the pickup
location and click on the “Submit” button.
If your request was
successful you will see the message, “Your
request was successful. You will be able to
pick up this material at the Easton Library
when it is ready. You may then return to
searching the catalog.
Some items may never be requested
such as reference or Local History
You will receive a telephone
call or a notice by e-mail that the item is
now ready for pickup.
You must bring the
$.25 and the library card that the item was
requested under to the library, the item
cannot be checked out on other library
Customer accounts owing unpaid fines
or overdue bills will be blocked form
To cancel holds you have placed.
Go to “My Account”;
choose to see the items you have on hold.
From your hold list
choose which holds to cancel or you may
cancel them all, click “Update List” and
respond “Yes” to finalize.
