 LIBRARY HOURS AFFECTED BY ROOF REPAIRS

Work on the Easton Area Public Library roof will begin on Monday, May 19, and continue through the end of the month. During this period the Library will open at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, close on Fridays, and open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The Marx Local History Room will be open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to noon and 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Normal hours are expected to resume on Monday, June 2.

Both the Palmer and South Side branches will be open as usual. The book drop at the Main Library will be open for returns, and items may be renewed online at www.eastonpl.org or by phone.

Programs scheduled for the Catherine Drake Meeting Room will be held as scheduled. This includes the Parent/Child Workshop from 11:00 - 12:15 on Tuesday, May 20, and the Memorial Day tribute “Angel in Fatigues” at noon on Wednesday, May 21, with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. Anyone attending programs in the Drake Room should use the Church Street entrance on the lower level.

The Main Library and its branches will be closed on Saturday, May 24, and Monday, May 26, in observance of Memorial Day.
